Write a ReviewQuality work and friendly professional staff
They have poor communication and even poorer customer service. Their job delayed work to be done as their equipment continued to break down. This was claimed to be a part of the trades from the owner, Mitch. I was in contact with their manager when they then placed a lien. Amazing how companies can do inferior work then use a claim to get wheat they want. If this is who you want to work with they will be cheaper than others in the area but know what you are getting into.
The spray foam industry is highly specialized. We are unable to go the local Home Depot in order to procure replacement parts when inevitably something fails, in fact the nearest place to get parts in person is 300 miles away. We strive to keep replacement parts on hand however we do not keep every single part that could potentially fail. With this particular customer we had a part fail that we did not have in stock, we drove and got the part, repaired our equipment as quickly as possible and then proceeded to work through the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) in order to try and keep the customer on schedule. Once we completed the job we did not hear from the customer about any concerns that he had until an invoice was sent and he decided that he wanted a 65% discount on the project. Management responded asking why we weren't given a chance to correct any of his concerns to which the customer responded by saying that he had already done the "repairs" and just wanted the discount. In regards to the lien that was placed this is standard practice and C.A. law, all Pre-liens (mechanics liens) need to be filed in the first 20 days after has been initiated, which we did, protecting our right to potentially lien the property in the future. In this case we are glad we did as this appeared to be the only way we could spur communication from the customer and get our invoice paid. Caution to all other sub-contractors out there DO YOUR PRE-LIENS otherwise you risk not getting paid for your hard work. In the end we settled with the customer for a 13% discount but it appears he felt the need to leave us this review. Check our other reviews on Google ETC we have completed thousands of jobs with thousands of satisfied customers. - Mitch Cokeley
To the best of my knowledge the job was done properly and professionally. We had a little bit of a communication problem before the job was started but we’re able to get thru it satisfactorily. The day of the job the crew encountered terrible traffic and were delayed in their arrival. They called to advise me of the situation and gave me updates. I recommend them and would use them again.
Did better than expected
Crew was great!
Emileano was great to work with; honest & straight-forward, knowledgeable, and professional. He recommended a less expensive way to fix my garage door problem than what I was prepared to pay for. Very happy!
Everyone was fantastic from Sales rep to installers!
My insulation project was more difficult than is typicaly expected, access to far corners of previous insulated attic. 805's crew was successful in insulationing previous overlooked area's. I am experiencing 4 - 5 degrees more warmth this winter reducing my heating costs 15 -20%. John S. SIMENZ & COMPANY CONTRACTING SERVICES INC.
Very knowledgeable and professional. Lowest comparable rate. Showed up as scheduled and completed job in less than a day. Highly recommend.
When the initial man came to inform us of options, I knew right away that this is the company I wanted to hire! Very knowledgable from many years of experience. Answered all of our questions . Very professional & EXCELLENT Customer service. One thing we learned is not all Insulation contractors are honest. We learned that our past company (I can't remember their name) did not spray any insulation above our kitchen and the rest of the area was sparse & did not meet standard regulations. 805 Insulation has high standards & price was lower than we expected. We no longer have a draft coming from there! They also insulated the entrance and put in deflectors to direct any outside wind up over the insulation. They are the COMPLETE Package everyone needs to hire!!!!!! Donna D. in Los Osos, CA
