"Had 3 installers bid on replacement of 5 windows. LWS was the lowest and offered the best warranty (20 years). They also directed me to Cardinal corp, the company where they purchased the windows. I was impressed with the quality of the glass and even upgraded 2 large fixed windows they were replacing. The other two bids were from well known companies and did not have the warranty (5 years and 10 years). The other 2 bids were $450 and $1000 more than LWS. It's not always wise to go with the lowest bidder but had a great experience with them. They were respectful and neat and did a great job."

"Joaquin Sanchez is very hard-working. He was cooperative and very interested in pleasing the customer. He did a great job in cleaning up the exterior of my home. Joaquin needs a better rain suit because he got very wet during the process of pressure washing the house. I would recommend him to do this work. He does need to be more careful around the motion detector lights."

He helped us out when another contractor abandoned our complete Rehab job and gave us a great price and was SO patient with the whole project. We ran into problems and delays with both the bank and the city and Jim was great about it all. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
