His customer service is outstanding, and he brought my vision into reality with both professionalism and quality! "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"This pair of true craftsmen worked magic on my old but serviceable 28-year-old wood windows. Two casement & two large fixed windows suffered substantial cosmetic rot in sash, sill &/or brick-mold. Windows were removed & completely rebuilt. The skill displayed in fashioning the intricate re-framing of the windows from 4â x4â stock using a table saw amazed me. They did additional exterior work, replacing rotted wood trim around the garage & chimney areas. All work was caulked, & repainted. Half dozen other contractors shied away from any cosmetic repair, each suggesting full window replacement. Work was done very reasonably compared to replacement cost, they look brand new. I thank God they came to DeKalb for us & saved our beautiful windows. Prayers answered, they have our highest recommendation."

Polite, friendly and expert craftsmanship John (salesman) was willing to show us computer image of the job for those of us who have trouble envisioning in our own head and quick to give suggestions if your plans would not look good. We trusted him to help us with color schemes and he nailed it. Henry (coordinator in the office) was very attentive and understanding (and patient) with peon questions from us. Receptionist as well who answered the phone was very polite - all in all, the company is first class. My only regret is that we wonâ t have to deal with residing for another 25 years and give them return business. These guys have 30 years experience under their tool belts and they know what they are talking about. When nobody and I mean nobody would install my drip edge extenders and my Rainhandler system they came with a smile. They also corrected other issues with my roof and replaced the cedar siding and stained it. I have no more leaks in my foyer! Job well done and I would hire this crew to do all repairs in the future.
