"I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic builder who repaired my house to perfection. After receiving several quotes from different contractors, I chose this builder because they provided the fastest service and the lowest price, even beating out the second lowest bidder by a significant margin. Despite my initial doubts, this builder's service exceeded my expectations in every way. The damage on my siding right below the roof was worse than I thought - the wood inside was also rotten. But the builder was up to the challenge. They cleaned up all the rotten wood and replaced it with new wood. The siding had a curve which required a 12 foot long piece of wood, but they had no problem replacing it with a new one. While the contractors didn't speak English, communication was not a problem thanks to the Google translator app. I was able to use the app to ask them to paint the extra siding next to the damage, and they had no problem understanding my request. I am extremely pleased with the work this builder did on my house. They were fast, efficient, and provided an outstanding level of service. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of home repairs or construction work. "I have a craftsman house, with woodwork galore, and we were doing a full paint job. Every room, door, ceiling, fireplace mantel, even the floors to our sunroom were getting painted. And the job was beyond excellent. They really went above and beyond, there were areas on some of the old windows and doors that extra care was needed with sanding and work to make sure we got a very nice finish. Also no window was painted shut (seems trivial but I don't know how often I've seen that in old homes). The communication about what color and what type of sheen and paint type was great. Especially since again this was the entire house, and not to move out, to move in, so we had picked multiple paint colors and combinations. I really can't stress enough how good a job it was, I felt taken care of, and that they really respected and were careful with my house. Also from a technical standpoint the estimate i received on cost and timeline was exactly accurate. It was affordable and timely for the scope of work! I highly reccomend them to anyone."

"Xander was AMAZING! he contacted me right away after I contacted Angi for roofing specialists and was able to come out to my home the next day to look at the project. He knew right away what the issue was and gave me several options of how to fix it thoroughly explaining each. He even took the time to bring me onto the roof and show me the problem myself. I had so many other companies try to upsell me without having seen my roof first hand and Xander absolutely did not. Not only did he fix problem but it ended up costing far less than I was quoted by other companies. My roof looks good as new now and I couldn't be happier!"

Tina and her company were hired to paint our house. She showed up on time and gave us a quote for the project; she was professional and very confident. Her manager estimated to complete the job in less than a week. After three weeks we were notified that the job is completed. During the inspection I noticed multiple paint spillages around the work area, brush strokes, uneven areas of paint, streaks, and blemishes. I was told that someone will come and finish the job because â they never walk away from the jobâ . Multiple phone calls and emails later they finally admitted that the job was done poorly and promised to paint the walls and the ceilings again. Two weeks later they put another coat of paint, however they left multiple dried paint drippings all over the place, including our newly installed floors. In the light construction will cost you time, money and possibly your sanity. Do not waste your money. I have no idea how the company is still in business. Tina and her team rewired my kitchen to put in my new appliances. She put in new bedrock, baring wall, and surrounding wall for my new tub. Tina and her team removed the remaining hardware for the old iron stove. Then went up on the roof to cut it off and replaced part of the ceiling. Her team painted, put in new doors and new carpet. Tina and her team went above and beyond to help me with my condo. I am so grateful. Anyone who uses In The Light Construction Management are lucky to have someone who is up front on the labor and price. You will not find that with any other Construction Company."

"After initial phone consultation, I was feeling skeptical about Pro Painters LLC and asked for a lot of additional information about the business. The owner and business partner were very understanding and receptive of the inquiries and made sure we felt comfortable. We decided to choose this business due to the competitive pricing they quoted for ceiling, trims (patching nail holes on the trims), doors, and walls (patching holes in the walls). We met out at a Sherman Williams and paid for the paint we wanted (the quote covered the cost of the paint as well). They were able to start the SAME week that they gave a quote with. Pro Painters came in the next day and started preparations--covered all floors, rails, cabinets, door handles, light fixtures, outlets, etc. After the preparation day, they came out and started all of the painting around the home. Once the paint dried, they did a quality check walkaround themselves and fixed any areas that had excess paint. Then, they cleaned up the area (covers removed, wall plates put back on, paint removed) and we did a walkthrough the place. I pointed out areas that would need to be fixed or outlets that were missing wall plates and they made sure they corrected any of the work items. I came back to check a few days later for the paint to completely dry out and noticed another area with paint chipping and damages. So I messaged and they came back and fixed it! Overall, I highly recommend this painting business and will be using them for any further painting jobs that I may have. I have recommended this place as well to my real estate agent who will most likely start using them as well!"

You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
