"Please read this update, as I hired Central Home services to clean out a Dryer Vent at my daughters home, and was not on site. I received the following from my son-in-law, who is entirely happy with the Job and the extra effort put in by Steve Schur. A service schedule was only calculated one hour for a cleaning. Then it turned out Steve was there about 5 hours, it did take longer than expected and he didnâ t charge for the hour already spent trying to clean and troubleshoot the incorrect setup. Someone had installed an in-line damper inside the vent line which was a big problem, aside from the multiple lengths of flex that was pieces together and the incorrect vent cover. Steve busted his butt working in the attic which was not an easy place to get to. All in all he completely replaced the vent line with rigid pipe and and a recessed dryer pan. It came out perfect and is now drying and venting correctly. I was initially upset with the delay of getting this job started, but now realize situations such is our does sometimes happen and causes the best of plans to be messed up. I appreciate Steve doing things the right way to correct a serious problem. Would hire again, absolutely."
