"Travis was very knowledgeable, thorough, and neat! He explained the air duct cleaning process and discovered one of my air ducts in my living room floor had never been attached! This was a huge revelation as I have had a/c and heat leaking into my garage for years and years! He also discovered mold spores on two vent registers in my living room and explained what could and should be done to stop the mold! He was prepared to take care of it right then so knowing how serious mold is, I immediately agreed to the treatment Which involved a Botanical Disinfectant solution. He also told me the coils were dirty. I have a regular HVAC servicing contract but that company has never checked nor cleaned the coils! Again he was very thorough and I challenged him with my major lint dryer issue!! I tried to clean it on my own but after 20 years of neglect - I really jammed up the lint in the pipe! He persevered and unblocked the lint. Yes I would definitely hire him again to clean my air ducts and dryer vent! Past air duct cleaners have NEVER ever conducted such a thorough cleaning of each individual vent (qty 20) and 3 return vents! He also was willing to negotiate the price too! I say this because he was the one among dozens of HVAC service providers who answered the call late last Tuesday night when our AC decided to go on strike on the eve of a day slated for a triple-digit heat index. Matt arrived at our house at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning after having completed a job 40 minutes away. He performed a thorough cleaning on the unit, replaced a weak capacitor, and charged it up with coolant, and voila - our aging system was running like a dream and bringing the house down from a temp in the low 80s to a much more livable temp in the low 70s in short order. "The technician was not only on-time, he called me when he was 20 minutes out to assure me he was on the way. He had all of the necessary parts and equipment on his truck and was completely done with the project -- replacing the glass and seals of my gas fireplace -- within 45 minutes. While the old glass was removed, he cleaned the interior of the fireplace and replaced the old embers, neither of which was required by the contract. After putting the new glass and seals in place, he then tested to ensure no carbon monoxide was seeping into the house. The fireplace looks like it is brand new and it functions perfectly. I am totally satisfied with the job, and the price was very reasonable. The technician left details of a service program, but did not pressure me in any way to sign up.
