Comment: I am looking for a handyman/handymen to help with my framing and sheetrock needs. My family is looking to slowly finish our single family home’s basement and we want to take the first step towards reaching that goal by framing and hanging sheetrock for our basement’s foundation walls. At this point in time, I am looking for pricing on how much it would cost to install the following:
For framing, our basement needs 112.5 linear feet of framing which would be 8 feet tall. This would total 900 square feet of framing.
For sheetrock, our basement needs 138 linear feet of sheetrock hung which would be 8 feet tall. This would total 1,104 square feet of sheetrock. There are windows and a sliding glass door so the total would actually be closer to 1,000 square feet of sheet rock. In terms of finishing the sheetrock, all we need is taping and one coat of compound. We will be doing the painting ourselves.
