"They did a complete chimney rebuild with waterproofing (new brick and mortar, new flue and cap) from the roof line up. They were able to come out on Friday for an inspection and quote. They were able to fit me into schedule and complete the work on Sunday. This was very helpful as solar company is installing a new roof on Thursday and they don't do chimney rebuilds or repointing. Looks very nice"

"My chimney was significantly cracked and had pieces of brick falling off of it. Additionally, I was getting water in my fireplace every time it rained hard. I called Saul at Chimney Safe; he scheduled an appointment immediately and was prompt in arriving. After thoroughly inspecting my fireplace, going into the crawlspace in the lower level of the house to look at the boiler/furnace, and going onto the roof to check the chimney (something none of the other contractors I had out did), Saul gave me an extremely good quote to do a substantial rebuild of my chimney. He also provided me with some tips on how to more efficiently use my fireplace. Saul is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and friendly with a great work ethic. The completed chimney looks so good that two roofing contractors who were at my house the next day both commented on the quality and craftsmanship. "John and his crew were great, from start to finish. They removed an old brick patio, and replaced it with 1.5" Pennsylvania bluestone. In addition to replacing the existing patio, they expanded it to include 3 offshoot walkways (plus my garbage can area & 2 drywalls to bury my gutter lines). At John's suggestion, the entire bluestone work was bordered by granite blocks. He took the time to source from my local granite quarry, so that the borders would match existing stonework around my home (from that same quarry). I thought that doing a granite border would be overdoing it, as I'd never seen this done before. I was wrong. This is how it's done properly. Most importantly, John and his crew were honest, good people, and easy to work with (though at times his crew's English was an impediment - but we worked through it). Regardless, like I said, they were all good people, and very hard workers. At the end of the project (on the last day), there was actually a turn/curve in the main walkway that I thought could be done better. I wasn't happy with this one detail, but you could say it was my fault, as I hadn't previously said anything about it. True to form, and as advertised, John and his crew dug it out and fixed it/re-did it. And he was nice about it to boot. Top notch service. Highly, highly recommended."

"I hired Ben's Masonry to re-do my brick patio - repave plus build new stone steps. I am quite happy with the overall experience. They responded well, showed up on time, get the job done faster than estimated - they estimated to take 3-4 days, but finished in one day - one long day - after I asked them try faster. The new patio looks very nice. They know what they are doing, for sure. They can be trusted. One recommendation - this must be true to all contractors - tell them in detail what you want, and write down in contract."
