Made a call to Eljon and he came to our home, reviewed the area and gave us not just an estimate but ideas as well to help us decide on a final product. After a few days deciding and looking over a Cambridge catalogue he provided us we decided to go with Eljon and never so glad we did. "They did a complete chimney rebuild with waterproofing (new brick and mortar, new flue and cap) from the roof line up. They were able to come out on Friday for an inspection and quote. They were able to fit me into schedule and complete the work on Sunday. This was very helpful as solar company is installing a new roof on Thursday and they don't do chimney rebuilds or repointing. Looks very nice"

"My chimney was significantly cracked and had pieces of brick falling off of it. Additionally, I was getting water in my fireplace every time it rained hard. I called Saul at Chimney Safe; he scheduled an appointment immediately and was prompt in arriving. After thoroughly inspecting my fireplace, going into the crawlspace in the lower level of the house to look at the boiler/furnace, and going onto the roof to check the chimney (something none of the other contractors I had out did), Saul gave me an extremely good quote to do a substantial rebuild of my chimney. He also provided me with some tips on how to more efficiently use my fireplace. Saul is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and friendly with a great work ethic. The completed chimney looks so good that two roofing contractors who were at my house the next day both commented on the quality and craftsmanship. "I never have seen a crew work so hard in this blistering heat! I hired Original Masonry for a relatively small project, tearing up my old garage floor and pouring a new one. Krenar pointed out that there was literally no garage foundation under the garage walls, and he identified areas in the cinder blocks where I was getting a good deal of water making the garage damp and smelly. After considerable thought, I decided to have Original Masonry jack up the garage, lay a proper foundation and rebuild the cinder block walls, putting in a curtain drain around the garage to take care of any future water issues. They did a magnificent job, and cleaned up beautifully. I could not be happier with their work! I plan to hire Original Masonry to build a stone wall in front of my home to level off my side yard. I recommend them very highly."

"John and his crew were great, from start to finish. They removed an old brick patio, and replaced it with 1.5" Pennsylvania bluestone. In addition to replacing the existing patio, they expanded it to include 3 offshoot walkways (plus my garbage can area & 2 drywalls to bury my gutter lines). At John's suggestion, the entire bluestone work was bordered by granite blocks. He took the time to source from my local granite quarry, so that the borders would match existing stonework around my home (from that same quarry). I thought that doing a granite border would be overdoing it, as I'd never seen this done before. I was wrong. This is how it's done properly. Most importantly, John and his crew were honest, good people, and easy to work with (though at times his crew's English was an impediment - but we worked through it). Regardless, like I said, they were all good people, and very hard workers. At the end of the project (on the last day), there was actually a turn/curve in the main walkway that I thought could be done better. I wasn't happy with this one detail, but you could say it was my fault, as I hadn't previously said anything about it. True to form, and as advertised, John and his crew dug it out and fixed it/re-did it. And he was nice about it to boot. Top notch service. Highly, highly recommended."
