"We highly recommend "The Hired Hand" (formerly named B Squared Home Solutions). They made numerous repairs to our deck, and completely refinished it. The deck is 30 years old, and now looks as good as new. Also, they repaired a set of wooden stairs leading from outside into our basement. I thought they were beyond repair, but are now fully functional. They started the project on the date promised, kept us apprised of their progress, and finished the job on time and at the quoted cost. We are very pleased with the quality of their work, and plan to have them do future projects."

"Just too expensive for what you get. Feels like a big company nickel and dime move. I get having a trip charge. Which was $109. But then to have the tech who was great btw (not his fault), but was tentative about fixing the problem because of creating more damage. Another $160 for a simple diagnostic charge, again without fixing the problem. I already knew the diagnosis. So he basically did a Band-Aid fix (greased the Knob) and still charged me over $280+ for what equated to be 10 minutes of work. It was ridiculously high for the service provided. Next time I?m going to an independent, local guy."

"I contacted Tim to install a set of attic pull down stairs on Monday. The cost quoted was $300 including the materials. He came this am and the first thing he did was put down a bunch of tarps. He was here at 9am as promised and left at 12:30. Job was finished and looks great. Gave him $350 as his work was worth it."

Little back story: We hired a previous contractor which ruined tens of thousands of materials and flooded my home with no remorse, he ended up uninsured and left us in a very bad situation . We decided to hire Micheal because he had experience in helping others in fixing a bad situation. We had to wait for him to finish a project with another client. Not only is his contract, liability insurance and worth ethic fantastic but he is a swell man. All I will say is “it was well worth the wait “. Michael and his brother are professional, timely, they take the job seriously and treat your home with the upmost respect and care. I have a one year old child and they were courteous to his nap time and would break for lunch when he would nap. Everyday I had updates, the communication was spectacular . He delivered on time and made my homes value skyrocket . He’s so good we hired him again!"
