"I was looking around to get my kitchen done, and I was getting discouraged by the prices and BS, but I am glad I tried again on Angi, and Chris reached out. Chris and his son were great to work with to update my very dated 1960's kitchen. He made the process less stressful and affordable, and he is honest. I had all new cabinets, plus adding new cabinets, granite countertops, flooring, and backslash done. Chris is very knowledgeable in his craft, and the company and contractors he used were great, too. The cabinets are very well made and solid, I just love them! The granite countertops are beautiful, and the guys who did my floors and backslash great. I love my new kitchen, thank you, Chris. I would definitely recommend Chris and his company High Caliber Cabinets!!! I wish I could provide pictures."

"KT Construction recently did some work for us and we are very pleased with the results. We had new baseboard installed along with door jams, and also had new kitchen shelving done in two pantries. In addition to the high quality work being done, we were pleasantly surprised with the communication, cleanup, and excellent estimating on lumber needed, etc. We look forward to working with KT in the future. Highly recommended. Thank you."

"Lutton Construction did a wonderful job with my basement remodel, transforming it from the 80s to modern times. Kyle (the owner) listened carefully to my vision for the space and was very responsive throughout the duration. The project included building new framed interior walls, insulating, new electric, fixing a section of sill plate, replacing a damaged gas line, drywall, new LTV flooring, refinishing the ceiling, new wood trim and finishing work and fresh painting. His crew was polite, professional and very detail oriented. Absolutely thrilled with the finished result and my family is looking forward to enjoying for many years!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
