"Christian did an excellent job filling In then refinishing a 100 year old wood floor. The floors turned out great and were the selling feature for the house. He also did an excellent job installing kitchen cabinets for me. He is an honest man who makes sure his clients are completely satisfied. I would highly recommend him for any project."

"I didnt think you could get this level of skill and services in the trades in the United States anymore. Exceptional attention to detail and service. We had water damage our ceiling and it needed to be mitigated. This left us with a 3 foot hole in a popcorn ceiling that runs the full length of the house. I was out of town and my wife was not looking forward to dealing with the situation. We both expected, at best, visible lines in both the texture and color of our ceiling and a mess to clean off the carpet. Nate taped everything off before starting, and cleaned up immaculately after he was done. He even scrubbed our front steps outside. The work is superb; its like it never happened. I can not tell where the sheetrock was replaced, I can not see any lines in either the popcorn texture or the ceiling color. I can not recommend highly enough."

"While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, AWE Diversified Services helped make the demo process a success. The quality of work was top notch. Jerry Matthews, Washington, and their crew were friendly, professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful of our property. They were conscientious about following the project plan and worked to ensure we were fully satisfied with the end results. The inspector and the other sub-contractors gave high praises on the excellent partial demo job."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
