The principal of the company came to us with an initial CAD design for a backyard Travertine patio and worked through several iterations of the design until we were fully satisfied prior to beginning the work. He did â notâ pressure me - he let me ask questions and think about it - he was flexible and explained the process he would take to expand my patio. He arrived on time, he went the extra mile to lay plywood to help protect my yard by minimizing any damage from his equipment. He was well organized and went straight to work - he let me know when the concrete was due to arrive and he was ready to pour and spread the concrete when it did arrive. He was going to haul away the excess dirt and grass he removed in preparation for the patio expansion but I mentioned I had a low area at the edge of my yard that collects water when it rains and he filled in that area with the excess dirt and grass. He took his time to spread and smooth out the new patioâ s concrete to make sure it was perfect - he did a better smoothing out the new patioâ s concrete than the builder did with the â originalâ patio. He cleaned up the yard afterwards and told me to call him if I had any questions about the concrete curing or any issues - I do not expect any issues as he did a professional job.
