"These guys were amazing! I worked with Summit Hardwood which is a subsidiary of Hardwood-Headquarters, LLC. The quote was great and it was exactly what I was charged. There were no hidden fees or last minute surprises. They were kind, conscientious, and they were a pleasure to have in our home doing the work. I can't believe how quickly they got everything installed-- they were amazing!!"

"Neal is very professional and takes pride in his work. The crew was also very professional, respectful, and hard working. I found this company online, contacted him and was able to get a free consultation where he drove all the way to my condo in Canton the same day! He was able to schedule the job for 2 days later. He buys the paint and they show up ready to work! There was no inconvenience to me! They painted my condo beautifully and helped give me my dream starter place. Neal told me it would be completed in 1 day and it sure was completed in 1 day. The work was absolutely beautiful! I will always use this company for anything I need done. My parents were so pleased with the work, they hired them a week later and they painted their entire house and did multiple renovations to their home. My parents are in love and hiring them for another job soon. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Ypsilanti Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 86 reviews of 86 pros.
