"We could not be happier with the bathroom that we had redone. Mike and his staff were professional, communicated effectively, answered every question, and did everything they could to make the project easy for us. We will be recommending Mike to others and will be using them again."

"Very professional and responsive. Work quality was excellent. The crew was attentive to our needs and very flexible in accommodating our minor changes and adjustments during the project. We were completely satisfied with the first project renovating two bathrooms. We hired Viohl for a second renovation of the third bath. We highly recommend Viohl."

"Tucker's came to my home and laid some carpet for me. The request was short notice, and the job quite small - however Tuckers came when they said they would and did a great job for a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend them and WILL have them do future carpeting work in my home. Good job."

"I have hired many contractors from Home Advisor but this my first review. This team is amazing. They show up on time, clean up after themselves at the end of every day, their work is amazing and they have great attention to detail. I had Owens Corning wall panels in my finished basement, they were here when I bought my house and I hated them from day one; they were too industrial looking for my taste. Anthony and Michael removed all of the double layered panels in a 1500 sq ft basement and disposed of them. They put up drywall, did all of the finishing work, put all 20 receptacles back in, put up floor and door trim and painted. They also replaced two casement windows and rehung two doors that were not installed properly by the previous homeowners. I plan on hiring them to replace the antiquated drop ceiling next."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
