"Mike and his crew did a great job. They remodeled two of our bathrooms and also various other projects. Since he is a general contractor he can do the whole remodel turnkey! I would highly suggest Davissons Home Improvement."

"This company is run by a pair of brothers. When Scott and I met for the first appointment he was completely prepared and presented both his license and his references. He worked with me to develop a project within my budget. They presented and held to the schedule. The work is first class and every evening the crew cleaned up and left the worksite spotless. Both of the brothers and all of the workers that came to my house were polite and professional. I would highly recommend this company. I had a wonderful experience with them."

"We hired Middletown Home Improvements to clear brush, small trees, and trash from a property that we purchased. The pricing was excellent and they did an amazing job. Ray paid a lot of attention to making sure trees that we wanted to keep were not damaged."

"I have hired many contractors from Home Advisor but this my first review. This team is amazing. They show up on time, clean up after themselves at the end of every day, their work is amazing and they have great attention to detail. I had Owens Corning wall panels in my finished basement, they were here when I bought my house and I hated them from day one; they were too industrial looking for my taste. Anthony and Michael removed all of the double layered panels in a 1500 sq ft basement and disposed of them. They put up drywall, did all of the finishing work, put all 20 receptacles back in, put up floor and door trim and painted. They also replaced two casement windows and rehung two doors that were not installed properly by the previous homeowners. I plan on hiring them to replace the antiquated drop ceiling next."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
