He was able to sand it thoroughly before applying a darker stain in order to hide any of the existing previous damage. He made many other repairs to areas that needed attention. A buddy of mine recommended Elite Drywall. I also did my own research and received a number of quotes from other contractors. To be honest, Elite Drywall quote was on the high side. Ultimately I decided to move forward with them anyway. I had high expectations, and yet I was still pleasantly surprised. Their work began even before they officially started. Jeremy graciously communicated with me every step of the way. When Jeremy and Gabby arrived, they acted like polite guests. They took off their shoes and very thoroughly covered the floors and walls before they started. After everything was done, I got the sense the walls and ceilings looked better compared to before. Did not realize that would be possible. And Gabby actually went above and beyond. He repaired a number of additional holes for me, more than what I initially requested for.
