Review a proDriveway and Patio Installations, Concrete Installations, Concrete Construction
"I hired Sanders Concrete Construction to replace a section of sidewalk, along with 35 feet of concrete of my broken driveway. Manuel (the owner) and his team removed the old concrete, set the forms, poured new, and finished the surface in one day. The work looks great, and is garnering great comments from the neighbors. Great work, and I would hire Sanders Concrete again."

"Michael Ridgeway was wonderful to work with because he listened to how I wanted the gate to be finished so it would be structurally strong. I would hire him again without any question. Michaels helper that worked along with him worked very hard. I really appreciate their work ethics. Thank you so much Michael and Tommy! Sherie"

"Tyler came in when he said he would with skilled craftsmen that worked diligently until the job was done. He took the time to answer questions and explain their means and methods. They truly did their work in a craftsman manner taking care of the finished walls and cleaning up each day. Prior to the job when we were considering using Statewide he sent product data and pictures from previous projects they had completed. They gave us a product that will meet our needs for the future with minimal maintenance which is what we were looking for. As for homeadvisor.com they followed up on the status of our project and showed concerns for our needs. My first exposure with homeadvisor.com was positive and they will be used again. Statewide finished the floor covering in an office building that will be used at a rifle and pistol range, sealing the floor with a polyaspartic material over natural finish with no stain color."

While Sacramento garage flooring is not subjected to the same kind of abuse as garage flooring in areas of the country that are prone to wet, snowy winters, over time it can still lose appearances due to wear and tear. Even if it is in perfect shape, Sacramento garage flooring is often a little less attractive than flooring in other parts of the home; however, this doesn't have to be the case. The upper Central Valley is a perfect place to enhance your garage floor and make it more visually appealing. If you're tired of the same dingy, gray slab, there are a few options out there that are worth considering.
Painting Garage Flooring
Painting is probably the most obvious way to brighten up your garage floor, however, it is not generally the best option for Sacramento. Garage flooring is subjected to some pretty serious abuse (even if it never sees a snowflake). Though there are certainly paints that are designed specifically to stick to concrete, under this kind of traffic, even these are likely to perform poorly. In a pinch, painting a garage floor can quickly change the entire appearance of the space, but there's a good likelihood that you'll end up with peeling, chipping paint much sooner than you might expect.
Sealing Garage Flooring
Though sealing isn't necessarily going to improve the appearance of your garage flooring, Sacramento homeowners who choose this option will be able to protect their floors from scuffs and stains which can keep them looking good for longer than they would if left untreated. Sealing is not an extremely difficult process (or a particularly expensive one); handy homeowners will find that doing this job themselves is a very viable option.
Epoxy Coating
Epoxy has been used for a while now in commercial garages because it is extremely tough in addition to being attractive. In a residential Sacramento, garage flooring coated in epoxy is likely to hold up very well to normal garage traffic, but it must be installed properly. Low quality epoxy products that offer quick, do-it-yourself directions are likely to deteriorate almost as quickly as paint. Though not the most involved task on the planet, there is still no such thing as a 'quick' epoxy coating that is also high quality. Due to the specific techniques and prep-work needed to create a durable epoxy coating, professional installation is generally advised. It is also worth noting that epoxy does have problems retaining color in direct sunlight. Flooring that is not generally exposed to UV rays should hold up fine, but in garages with lots of windows, a urethane top coat can reduce fading.
Flooring Tiles
One final option for enhancing garage flooring in Sacramento is tile. Unlike the tile that you often find in kitchens and bathrooms, garage floor tile is resilient, rubbery, and perfect for parking a car on. Available in a wide variety of colors and styles (that you can also mix and match much like ceramic tile), the look of garage floor tile is diverse enough to suit just about any taste. It can also increase traction while it repels stains and scuff marks. Even better: garage floor tile is easy enough to install that almost anyone can do it!
With all of the options available to upgrade the look and performance of garage flooring, Sacramento homeowners are sure to find one that fits their tastes as well as their budgets. After bringing some color to a once dreary garage space, you may find more reasons to spend time there (even if it's just to show off your new floor)!
