"Jerry is a joy to work with. Easy to work with. Showed up every day until job was finished. Even though there was unexpected work once he ripped out the old bathroom, he still met my deadline. And this was at holiday time. Crew is highly skilled and professional and courteous. Highly recommend Jerry Holder."

"Val and his crew got the job done on very short notice and did not just get in, get out, and onto the next like other companies. They showed up when they said they would, had great communication, and made sure the entire issue was resolved instead of doing just a â good enoughâ job. They also noticed a couple other issues while here and took care of them without upcharging. Highly recommend them and will be calling them in the future for other work Iâ ll need done."

"Our travertine tile is comprised of 4 different sizes laid in a pattern. Mark, Chris and the men were very conscientious and know exactly what they are doing. They go above and beyond in helping you choose the perfect tile and installation. Mark's wife, Miriam, will be your first line of contact when calling Domestic Interiors, answering any questions you may have and is absolutely wonderful to work with. Our project was large and I love the completed job. It's gorgeous. Give them a call for your projects; you will be glad you did."

"My experience with 8:18 was unique. They came out to my home (on time) performed a site assessment and sent me an estimate all is the timeline they said they would.. My husband and I thought â to good to be trueâ . We called there office and verified they were a legit company. They answered all our questions and reviewed our estimate with us. We felt comfortable moving forward after this so we gave the initial deposit. There team arrived on schedule and took all precautions to work clean and safe as they transitioned around the house with the different sections of wall and ceiling they removed and replaced. They covered our floors with a heavy duty cardboard and divided the rooms with plastic. This was not the construction experience we expected. From start to finish they exceeded our expectations."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
SARASOTA Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 127 reviews of 127 pros.
