"Joseph and Sons had done our waterproofing in our finish basement. What I liked about this company was, they were the only company to do waterproofing and finish our basement with Sheetrock, trim, trim and floors. A one stop company that does all. Always delt with Angelo and he was very knowledgeable. Will be using them for future jobs."

"If I could give more stars I would. I have not delt with a company in any business that gives the attention and professionalism that Ronnie and his team give. When I was scheduling they find a time and day that best fits you. Any estimates , actually showing up , and amazing workmanship .I loved them so much I hired them back for my carpet . They did a great job as well. If you have any questions or concerns Ronnie handles it directly. Amazing and I highly recommend."

"They were prompt polite and did a good job repairing my kitchen cupboards and molding that had water damage. After they said they were done I inspected the work and I had a few corrections I wanted. They made a special effort to make sure I was satisfied and made the "fixes" I had requested with no complaints."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Rockaway Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 213 reviews of 213 pros.
