"We bought a home in Redmond which needed a lot of renovation work like removing the popcorn ceiling, existing flooring removal and new floor installation, adding a brand new kitchen including cabinet installation, wall removal to make it a great room, bathroom remodeling, entry door installation and whole house exterior and interior painting. Siam worked with us through out the project giving ideas and suggestions. Also allowing us to choose our products and help us cutting the cost being a very big project. He gave price list for every single work. We compared the cost with a couple of others but Siam seemed to be reasonable. Also others came up for a minimum 5month timeline but Siam was able to complete within 2.5 months though he had a couple of other active projects. Excellent commitment and work."

"We hired Andrew and his team to install some safety features in our home: grab bars, railings, some dry wall repair. The quality of work was excellent. Andrew and Josiah kept us informed throughout the project. Both men were easy to work with and did a wonderful job of cleaning up as they went along.. We have already hired them for a kitchen project in our home!"

"Shawn & Gianna did great work on my drywall repair & painting project. They also never treated me like my small, half-day job was of less importance than any others they have going on. If I need similar services in the future, I would definitely hire them again!"

"We had an incredible experience with Sean and Gabby. We never had anyone sit with us and explain thoroughly the scope of work. Other companies were forcing us to sign but BZR did an amazing job by giving us time and listening to us. They were very patient since we changed our minds more than a couple of times. I strongly recommend them if you want a contractor to explain every detail and actually manage the job, they are your guys. Thanks Sean and Gabby."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
