"Wayne and his team did a wonderful job on replacing the front siding on our home, they also had to rebuild the roof over the porch that was damaged from a tree falling on it, everything turned out beautiful and you would never know that t was ever damaged. "If there was any knock of the install it was the aftermath. Empire sent two gentlemen out for the install. They did an outstanding job. The work consisted of wood flooring on a staircase to the second floor then the hallway and into an office. I had to let them use my garage to do the cutting because it was storming outside. They did a great job in cleaning up but after the dust settled....I'm still cleaning the garage two months afterwards. Its all good. I highly recommend Empire Today LLC. We love the flooring. :)"

"Clear understanding of what was needed and what we wanted done.. Professional crew did a great job. No hard sell, no pressure, good price. These guys understand the local market and know their stuff. You will not regret hiring them. They had the materials we wanted, in the color we wanted and since our roof was already leaking they got to it in just a couple of days. That is real service."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
