"Tile One was the first time using Home Advisor. We needed a basement remodel that included a reconfiguration of the layout, demo, plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall, texture, paint, tile, carpet and an egress window. We pulled permits and it didnt slow them down. They were prepared, informative, considerate and respectful. They completed the project within the timeframe. I would definitely hire them again! We love our beautiful and functional basement! Thank you!"

Tile & Wood Flooring
"I hired PMCO to install laminate floor planks, trim, and a complex kitchen back-splash. The guys were so kind and thorough. Fantastic experience for a guy that usually does all home improvement projects himself. I also felt comfortable with them working in my house when I wasn't there, but my wife was. Will definitely use them again, and recommend them to all my friends."

"This project turned out better than I envisioned. The communication was too notch. I always understood what the next steps were. Iâ m most impressed by the level of craftsmanship. The finished product turned out amazing! I would highly suggest working with Bruce and his team. I know Iâ ll be using him for the basement renovation next!"

"Brad (owner) was fantastic throughout the whole process. He walked us through every step and asked for feedback along the way. He did things promptly once he committed to a timeline and would communicate the reason if anything had to be delayed (which was usually on our part for changing something). The finished project is beautiful and could tell that he did things even better than if it was his own home. We get so many compliments on our basement and recommend him to everyone who even mentions needing a GC. I would get in with him quickly before the word gets out and people find out how awesome, thorough, and reasonably priced he is."

Remodeling
"I was very pleased with the bathroom remodel. Everything was done when Dan said it would be done and the cost was just what he estimated. The bathroom is now handicap accessible and is beautiful too. I am so pleased that I decided to continue the tile floor into the utility room and later into the kitchen. He did beautiful work with the tile. I highly recommend DCL!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
