"From start to finish, Metro Green provided excellent customer service and great quality work. Christine had no issues walking us through the process and answering every question we had about having our deck built. She ensured everything was in order from the hoa application, county permits, and inspection. Jeo and Edgar's craftmanship and attention to detail speak volumes compared to other decks in our neighborhood. The deck was completed a couple weeks ago (which took 3 days from start to finish to build) and my neighbors still can not believe how fast it was completed. Do not go anywhere else, you have found what you are looking for...Great price, excellent quality and customer service!"

"Mike was great. He responded expeditiously; gave me great input; and ordered and picked up almost everything needed for the project, using his discounted price when applicable. His team completed my project in a week's time as promised and the job was beautifully done. I will definitely use him again for my next bathroom remodel and any other projects I have."

"They were outstanding in craftsmanship, timeliness, quality, safety, and inguinuity. Their ability to communicate and keep us advised was the best of any contractor that we have ever seen. Their pricing is good and better than most. The father and son work as a team. They always move with a purpose and worked thru some very cold and bad days when others pull back. We developed so much confidence in them thar we're moving forward on two additional projects as soon as they have an opening next month."

"Steve and his team showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. I needed a wood burner stove installed. The wood burner salesman recommended cutting off some of the stonework where the stove would be installed. Steve came up with a much better, shorter and cheaper idea where he came in and just made round holes where the stove legs would be."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
