"It was a cold and rainy Saturday night when I came home. I was expecting to have a warm toasty homecoming except I was greeted with chilly air and coldness of the floor. I discovered that the thermostat had stopped working. It was late so I called the company that I had been using for years, though I was a bit reluctant to call since the last experience with them was bordering a rip off. After I left a message, before I jumped into my bed intenting to ride the cold night out, I decided to use Angie's List and perhaps I would have someone call me on Sunday morning to do the work. Shortly after I placed the project info, within a few minutes I got a text from Matt Conde of Conde Tech Services. They said they could come out tonight if I am up for it. I said to myself, wow, these guys really work quite hard, so without any hesitation I decided to give them a try. Matt and his brother showed up at around 12:30 am and got to work right away. It turned out that the problem was not the thermostat but something to do with the electrical wiring of the system. In any event, they ended up did not finish the diagnosis and repair until around 3 am that morning. Matt and his brother had to take turn going out in the cold to work on the heat pump. I was quite impressed with the dedication and passion that they had for their job. These days, you don't find that many folks out there who are passionate about their jobs. So I asked them why they started their business and Matt explained that he and his brother were working for a large company for many years and they became dissatisfied as to how the emphasis had been placed on profits over the customer service. At the end of the night (or crazy early Sunday morning), I was very thankful for Conde Tech Services and they have earned a life time customer. :)"

Water Heater Services LLC owner/operator, Curtis Littlefield and his helper out performed my expectations in every category of replacing my hot water heater. Pre project, the company listened to my requirements, gave me appropriate advice using language and terms that I understood. Once the requirements were agreed, with a good price for materials and labor, the install was scheduled for the next day. The team arrived on time, with the correct tools, product, and vigor. The old water heater was drained, disconnected, and removed. The new heater was installed per my requirements and plumbing code, filled, tested, and the operation of the equipment was explained. The installation area was cleaned and waste was removed. Like watching a sports team, every movement between the well stocked and equipped truck and the equipment room was deliberate, efficient, and orderly. The new equipment was installed and heating water within 1½ hours. Curtis and his helper followed the Virginia COVID19 work guidelines exactly, which is comforting for those who are at risk or uncomfortable with visitors/contractors. Bravo! Thank you."

He contacted the provider and not only got it replaced at no cost...which involved getting a local retailer to forego the price for my model which they no longer carried. He corrected installation errors from the previous installer and was available to me after the install should i have questions.
