"Hiring Quest Remodeling was a great decision for us. We had them finish an area and turn it into a walk in closet. The work was performed promptly, the price was very reasonable (4x less than another home advisor recommended company), and the quality of work was very high. I will easily hire Ryan again for any future projects on my home. There is absolutely no BS from him and I believe you are getting an honest price for exceptional work."

"Pleasure to work with. Price was easily cheapest. Endlessly impressed w/ knowledge & attention to detail. Scheduled appointments (at no cost) to see available stock at hardware stores. Picked up all materials at no cost. Finished job early & on budget despite running into unforeseeable challenges (eg. cheap plastic pipes burst, but they bought and installed new plumbing for no additional charge. Also, after accidentally stripping off finish from wood floor, refinished it at no cost). Rare professional dedicated to ensuring a good experience & high quality, at low cost"

Remodels
"I hired Design Home Improvement back in October to repair the drywall in my ceiling. I received a great quote and Robert arrived to fix my ceiling the very next day. He was was very courteous and skilled, finishing the project within 4 hours. He checked in with me as he was getting ready to wrap up and asked me to take a careful look to make sure that everything looked great. I felt bad asking him to smooth out one tiny area, but he assured me that it was no problem, and he took his time to make sure that it was perfect before wrapping up for the day. Robert did such an excellent job that you can't even tell that my ceiling had been repaired. I am extremely satisfied with the service, and highly recommend Design Home Improvements and Robert for any of your drywall needs."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
