"Great quality and great service! I hired V&E to demo our shower and tub, then build a new shower with two niches and extend the floor tile where the tub used to be. They communicate every step of the way, are punctual and professional. Plus, they are really nice guys! Wish more contractors were like this. I am extremely happy with the outcome!"

"Karen and Jose are great to work with. They are quick to assess the customers; needs and wishes, honest and straight forward in bidding, courteous almost to a fault and -- unlike most contractors -- punctual. They do what they say they will do and, when finished, they clean up so well that it's like they were never there. We've dealt with many contractors over the past 30 years and San Diego Trusted Builders are our go to contractors now. We would recommend them in a heartbeat for anyone seeking a pleasant experience with their project. In fact, we already have!"

"Mike called within 1/2 hour of my posting the job, and arrived for an estimate within 1 1/2 hours after that. This was on Friday. He gave a very very reasonable estimate. He and his crew started the project the next Monday morning at 8 am and were finished by Thursday. No muss no fuss. The project included a installing a border design between the old and new tile that invovled cutting tile and arranging small pieces. No additional cost for the border. The finished product looks spectacular--so much so that I smile every time I see it. He and his crew did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
