"We have a 10 tear old brick patio that needed power washing and brick realignment and repair. Ilia was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in the way he went about his work. He exercised patience and paid attention to details. We are very pleased with the outcome of our patio. His pricing was fair and we highly recommend him."

"I’m very happy I chose Fran to install my kitchen tile backsplash. He was prompt in coming to look at the job and provided a quote the very next day. Fran shared pictures and ideas to help me decide which tiles would look and work best—no pressure at all, just helpful guidance. Fran and his helper James were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home. The backsplash came out great, and Fran left the area spotless—like he was never even there. Fran is a great guy who does excellent work. I’d gladly recommend him to anyone looking for tile installation services!"

"We have owned our 1928-era Tudor for 25 years. Needless to say, we have worked with numerous excellent contractors over the years, so it is no small compliment when I say that Bill Feher and Garage Force was the single-best contractor I have ever worked with. They did a beautiful job on a chip flooring for our basement. The craftsmanship was, in all ways, wonderful. Garage Force went above and beyond my expectations on a project that turned out to be trickier than we had expected. Best of all, it was a joy to work with such complete pros. I had checked out six other highly recommended contractors, but Bill's was the clearest, most comprehensive estimate, and it was clear that, both in knowledge and concern for our needs, he was head and shoulders above the competition. Hiring Garage Force was an excellent choice, and I recommend them whole-heartedly and without reservation."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
