When Mike Cavanaugh came to bid the job, he was professional, courteous and honest, and best of all, he, didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't want or need. We got a bunch of bids, and his was over $10,000 lower than the highest bid, for windows of the same rating. The windows were ready when promised. The Office Personnel worked with us on scheduling the install, and the installers were incredible! Alex was the team leader, and all 4 of the guys worked together like a well oiled machine. Those guys got 10 windows and a big sliding patio door replaced in just a few hours. They worked hard, were professional, and did a beautiful install job. The windows look so beautiful! They cleaned up every bit of dust and debris, and took it all away. This company has the best service, and their people are the nicest, most professional team imaginable. "SAMUEL GOROSTIETA was the first to call about the job I needed done and was over to view the problem within 30 min.s After 2 weeks of trying to find a local handyman, none of witch would even come by to view the problem, this was a high mark for Sam. The metter box cover had fallen off, and after only 30 years. I saw the surface problem, Sam saw the real problems, entire unit holding it in place needed to be replaced...he was right. He explained what needed to be done, offered a price, witch I thought was fair and we agreed he would do the job the next day. He was here on time the following morning. Set up his tools and went right to work. Removed all old frame and replaced or repaired ALL that needed to be done. He worked diligently and by the end of the day all work was completed and I am very pleased with the results. Sam was professional, knowledgeable and nice to work with. "David and Sam were very helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. It was a large kitchen/bathroom remodel in an older house that also included a partial remodel on a third bathroom to install new plumbing and electrical for a washer and dryer. They started with a 3D CAD model of the kitchen done by their designer with input from me and then followed it exactly. The finished project was beautiful and looked even better than the drawings. There were several big challenges along the way including lowering the kitchen floor and also removing a load-bearing wall which required an architect and an engineer for city approval. They had all the contacts needed and I didn't have to go out and look for them myself. They also got all needed permits and approvals and were there for all inspections. Whenever a particular part of the project wasn't quite what I expected they cheerfully redid it until I was happy. They even fixed some problems that were caused previously by other contractors during an earlier remodel. David went to the tile store with me and was available anytime I had questions on appliances and fixtures. Sam, who was in charge of the structural work, was knowledgeable in every area of construction and personally did the trickiest framing and bracing work himself to make sure it was done right. Even though the project is done they come by whenever I have a question or see something that needs a minor adjustment. They are easy to reach, always cheerful, and never avoid me or leave me hanging. They were even flexible on the pricing and gave me different options depending on my available budget. I'm going to do a bathroom addition in a few years and am planning on using them for that."

"This job was to renovate my home in preparation to sell it in early March. It consisted of a kitchen and 3 bathroom upgrade, flooring and lighting fixture replacement, painting and removal of 3 popcorn ceilings. Beginning the second week of January, the entire job was completed within 6 weeks. When first hired, the principal of Palm Construction carefully tuned in to my specific needs and targeted timeframe, offering succinct suggestions respects colors, style and quality of products used. Specialists in each trade worked cohesively with each other, as well as alongside other contractors that I had personally hired separately for windows and pool replaster. Although I had intended to live in the property during the renovation, I quickly realized that my occupancy was impeding progress, so I made the decision to vacate the premises. This was especially important during the removal of popcorn ceilings which contained asbestos. The work moved seamlessly from the removal of kitchen counters, sink, cabinet doors, appliances and flooring to the demolition of 3 bathrooms. Timely mutual decisions were made about fixtures, mirrors, flooring, sinks, vanities, paint and hardware, allowing the job to progress steadily to reach very precise goals. Along the way, it was determined that the air ducts needed replacing and AC would be a welcome addition to the total job. These issues were discussed and explained clearly and quoted at a reasonable cost - so I decided to add the change orders. Although I had never been involved with a home renovation in the past, I was very impressed with the patience and care taken to communicate with me throughout the entire job. I was a demanding customer with an expectation of perfectionism and Palm Construction was up for the challenge. Beyond the scope of the original job, Palm went above and beyond with finishing touches and little extras here and there. They've come back to help me even after completion of the job, when I needed some additional retrofits for my appliance installation, which was not even part of the original job. I know that I can count on Palm Construction to be responsive and willing for anything that may come up in the future. I learned that they are a GC that you can totally trust and rely on. In summary, I am in awe of the completed work. My friends and neighbors are astonished with the transformation of my home. The end product is flawless and most impressive.
