He did not pressure us either way, and when issues came up during the roof replacement that would cost more than the initial quote, they were only issues that had to be addressed to get the best life out of our new roof as possible. "Materials were ordered swiftly, and the team organized their subcontractors to complete the sequential work in as little time as possible. Most importantly, Sam, Anthony and project manager Adryan were on site every day coordinating the work and reachable within a moment's notice. In a very short three and a half weeks in August, the Universal team completed the complex plan.  New Pennsylvania fieldstone masonry work at the base of the home was installed first, including a new retaining wall.  A brand new timber tech rear deck was built.  Twelve new windows were installed.  All new James Hardie siding was installed and a substantial nine by twelve foot front portico completely transformed the front of the home.  Large scale reno is inexorably daunting, but the Universal team was communicative throughout the process. Any minor tweaks required or requested were met with prompt action to ensure the project was completed to expectations. We recommend URS for any exterior renovations. TY."

Justin and his team recently completed the estimation and installation of a roof with ridge vents and new K6 seamless gutters for me, and their work was outstanding. "We needed a roof replacement on our aging roof, so I had 4x different companies come by to do an estimate. Chris Rahill came out from Mighty Dog roofing. The first thing I noticed was how friendly and knowledgeable he was - he was able to answer every question that came up easily. Communication was top notch - very fast responses to calls/texts. He climbed on the roof and used a drone to evaluate the property. At this point, we discussed options. We were especially interested in Owens Corning shingles - they seemingly have a great warranty. Now at this point, I had four companies to decide between. What made me go with Mighty Dog was the following: they were a "Platinum Preferred Contractor" for Owen's Corning (be sure to make sure your roofer is certified in your roof system as they are held to the manufacturer's standards and can honor your warranty), the communication was top notch, the quote was easy to understand, he felt trustworthy, the price was fair, and seemed to know what he was doing. I had initial reservations with going with this company as they didn't have as many online reviews as competitors - don't let this scare you away. His workers showed up on time as scheduled and worked their butts off all day to remove my old roof (2x layers of shingles) and install a beautiful new one (all were very professional and friendly as well). Their cleanup was so good, you could barely tell anything was done (other than a beautiful new roof. I was extremely impressed all around. Would recommend."
