"I hired Tom to replace the stairs that go from my garage up to my kitchen door. The steps I had were not up to code (steep and uneven) causing me to fall a few times (I have a bad back and chronic pain). He gave me an estimate to replace them that was right in line with what I was hoping for. The new steps are pressure-treated wood, and now I have 3 steps and a landing. So much better! I don't even need my cane or to use the railing to haul myself up like with the old steps! I've asked him to replace my basement stairs, too, and he may even do my attic insulation. A great contractor! I'm glad I found him!"

The response time to my inquiry was immediate, the owner scheduled me for the next day to look at the job and the job was completed a few days later. Blerim from Palla Painting arrived today and he and his partner fixed cracks in the ceilings (one was ready to fall) in several rooms. They fixed peeling drywall tape and then then painted the kitchen, living room, foyer, hallway and 2 bedrooms. What an amazing job they did! "We noticed a leak in the ceiling of our garage - it was early Nov in upstate NY - cold, wet, windy - we were lucky that the leak was away from the living areas of the house - Elite's folks came out promptly to assess the problem (damage to the roof decking above the garage) , gave an estimate that was reasonable and gave me a window of time when they could do the work that was within a few days - the only caveats were my own insurance claim issue and the weather. As soon as I was ready with my issues they put us on their schedule and were on site 2 days later - in spite of an unexpected snow fall of 5-8 inches that left the roof covered with snow. They cleared the roof of snow in the area of the leak and began the process of peeling back the roofing to track the full extent of the leak. The damage was more extensive than initially thought but they worked to fully ID the problem and made sure everything was structurally sound before making the work area water and weather tight for the night. This took until 7 pm ... about 2 and half hours after dark. The next morning they returned around 7:30 am and worked through early afternoon to get the damage areas fully repaired and the roofing replaced. The damage that was not view-able until the roofing was taken apart was more severe than what could be seen before hand. The original estimate obviously could not address this and there was an increase from the estimate to the final invoice. I believe the increase was more than fair. These folks were prompt, polite, and neat - including cleaning up the area after work was completed. The price was right and work excellent. Over the 4-5 days since the work was done we've had rain and there is absolutely no sign of the problem that existed before . I would be saying 'great job if they did this in reasonable weather conditions. The weather was miserable and they still did the work with an exceptional result. This was a great relief for us ... thank you to Paul and Vlad and the Elite crew."

"Francis was super knowledgeable and gave great advice. We had him in to repair about 25 holes which had been left behind after electrical work to put in overhead lights. The holes were in the ceiling and in the textured walls. He not only patched the holes well, but he matched the texture on the wall perfectly! While he was in, he gave us some advice and recommendations and ultimately we also asked him to skim coat the ceilings that we had removed popcorn from and he did a great job there as well. At the end of the work we asked him to do, he cleaned up and left the areas he was in cleaner than they were when he came in! "It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city.
