"Super nice guy but didn't really finish the job. Charged an additional 350$ on top cash just to spackle the house. Didn't place any drywall at all. He did repair my ceiling area which is great, but he never sanded it down and didn't spray texture. It looks better than when he ha came but still looks a bit shoddy. He's a guy you can sit and talk with, but the repairs aren't very quality."

"Extremely thorough. Gave us the most detailed statement of work of any roofing contractor. Also, did everything he said he would. We replaced skylights, installed new 50 year architectural shingles, replaced all flashing, with copper, and also replaced cedar shingles on exterior siding. In addition, we did some roof extension to accomodate a new solar system. Jordan is a excellent carpenter, and roofer, and also very honest and easy to work with. I would recommend him over the other 6 roofing companies I interviewed for this project.."

He helped us find the leak in the masonry, and after we repaired the masonry damage, he and his crew came back to replace the water-damaged trim, repair the sheetrock, and paint. They did an amazing job with the work and kept a very clean workspace, including plastic sheeting around the workspace, and protected the floor. We were very happy with their work and look forward to using them for future projects."

"Alex and team were amazing in patching some holes in my ceiling and refinishing my walls. I was overzealous when I took on a bathroom project and let the project sit stagnant for months . Once I was sent home to work and society went into lock down, I decided to finally knock out this bathroom project. But was discouraged when I noticed that a water leak damaged some plaster on the ceiling in that bathroom. After deciding that "enough was enough", I had a parade of contractors through my door to bid the job. Some no showed, Some sent me quotes but never responded back when asking follow-up questions and some quotes were head and shoulders over the others in price. I decided to give HomeAdvisor a try to see if I could get some additional interest in the project. Queue Alex giving me a call on a Sunday to discuss the project and schedule a time to come out and quote it. I was blown away with his professionalism, walking me through the process and how he was going to complete it. While I was here, I asked him if he could repair another hole near a skylight and he did not a bat an eye at the challenge. Hiring Alex on the spot was an easy decision! (with the knowledge of the reviews on HomeAdvisor already giving me a good indication on his company) Alex and team showed up on time and got to work immediately. It did take two days to complete, but that should be expected to allow for drywall mud to dry. They cleaned up and vacuumed after the first day too, not leaving me with a mess as the drywall dried. The next day, they showed up on time, textured, primed and painted. Alex and I did get to chatting about his business and what he focuses on. It was reassuring that Alex didn't drive his business focusing only on big projects, instead filling a need in the market that helped home owners that are over their heads in fixing an issue or incomplete project. Overall, I'm happy with the service that Alex and team provided in a quick, efficient and professional manner. If I need him again, I'll definitely be calling him and his team to repair any walls or drywall."

"John and his sons painted 3 walls white in our master bedroom, plus two doors , trim, and baseboards. They painted one accent wall. They did an excellent and professional job. They did all the prep work-protecting furniture with plastic etc. After they painted, they cleaned everything. We would highly recommend these painters!!"

"I contacted Home Advisor on a Thursday afternoon around 4:45pm, & within minutes received a phone call from Denny at Texas Cool Roofing asking if I'd like for him to come by as early as the following business day at 8am to provide me an estimate on the job I needed to have completed. He showed up ahead of schedule & provided a VERY comprehensive estimate accompanied with detailed photos of each problem he identified as needing repairs. I informed him that there would be 3 additional companies coming (1 several hours after he'd left; the remaining 2 would come out the next afternoon) so I could also receive their bids for the job, but assured him I'd be in touch regardless of whether I would be hiring him/his company or not on Monday morning just as a professional courtesy. In the end, Denny's quote was about the same as ohne of the companies; much less than one of the companies; & about $500 more than the last company. The major difference in hius quote compared to that of the others was that it was MUCH more comprehensive in the identification of problems (all of which were accompanied with detailed photos) that not ont of the other roofers had noted in their propsals - & one of these areas that were damaged seemed to be rather significant in terns of how it was beginning to impact that integrity of the deck. I am not a roofer but I was somewhat shocked that at the very least one (if not all 3) of the other roofing companies had not seen/identified this area in need of repair, as even I (as a layman) could see from the photos how imperative this was in terns of getting it fixed before additional damage was caused to my home. Denny was hired for the job & had all the repairs done the following week. I liked how knowledgeable &friendly he was, never once getting frustrated by the endless questions I had for him about one thing or another. EXCEPTIONAL experience with Texas Cool Roofing, & I'm especially thankful to Denny for his detail-oriented work & his ability to get the job done in such a timely fashion, as well as Stormy at the office, who was a pleasure to communicate with the 3 or 4 times we spoke by phohe. Fantastic experience - 5 stars, without a doubt!! =)"
