"Mendez Construction was very professional and worked hard to repair and replace wall structures in my home. I also hired them to do other renovation services such as floor repair and installation, kitchen, bathroom and room renovation, closet installation and porch facade makeovers. Their team worked hard to meet my requests and answered my questions and concerns. I felt that they charged a reasonable price as I had researched other bids. Although, there seemed to be a bit of language barriers (as I speak little Spanish), the foreman’s English and team assistants were proficient enough for sufficient communication. "My house is gorgeous. It did not look like this when it was brand new. I love being in it and love showing it off. Jimmy Collins and his crew are phenomenal. They did more than just come in and paint, they became a part of our family and made us feel that that they appreciated our home as much as we do. Their work ethic is refreshing. They never once said, "Oh, that is not a part of my job..." they did what was asked. Ray, is a wonderful foreman. He ran a great crew and Jimmy oversaw all of the crews. We have a 2400 Sqr Ft Ranch. We had 11 areas painted - Popcorn removed from ceiling, sheet rock repaired where their were dings, note, in the kitchen, where we had taken our cabinets down and replaced with new, there were some severe dings and they repaired them and you can not tell that there was ever an issue. They painted all the walls. We had 8 paint colors they worked with and they didn't complain when I ended up changing one of those mid-stream. They painted floor boards, door jams in every room, window sashes in all of the rooms, closet doors, and repainted the ceiling where the popcorn had been removed. Speaking of the popcorn, they did not make a mess, they taped it off and they did not get any on the upholstered furniture or hardwoods. My husband and I definitely got our money's worth. So much so, that we asked them to take on Painting exterior Doors, side lights, shutters, palladium's above front windows and then Pressure Washing. You can read about those in a separate review. The value is hands down undeniably the best in town. We have a painter for life."

"David initially came to my house as part of a complete backsplash redo that Lowe's and service pros botched in my kitchen. Service Pros called him in to do the painting, upon speaking with him I found out he does sheetrock and I subsequently hired him to fix a crack in my popcorn ceiling. He did a great job on the repair and the popcorn he blew on the patch matched. I have since provided his number to two family members and would not hesitate to hire him again. He is prompt, reasonable and professional. Nice guy all around. If he can do it, he'll tell you, if he can't, he'll tell you. I find him trustworthy."
