"We are very pleased with the painting work our contractor, SHANCO Restoration Services, performed on our home recently. Our two-story home, including the basement, was originally constructed in 1990. We moved to this house in 2014. The house was apparently last painted in 2011 and the paint and siding itself were still in pretty good shape, except the color didnâ t suit us. To ensure our expectations were met, we prepared a detailed Scope of Work upon which bids were solicited (including the make, â model,â and color of paint to be used). We required 2 coats of both the base color and the trim color. We received 6 wide-ranging bids. Although its bid was â middle-of-the-pack,â SHANCOâ s bid actually incorporated our Scope into its bid document, which gave us confidence our desires would be followed. So we awarded them the contract. Most of the house has LP composite siding, so the painters had to be very careful when pressure washing. Although the old paint wasnâ t pealing, the high bidder actually wanted to strip the old paint; this process would likely have required us to fully re-side the house given the fragility of the LP siding! The cleaning, masking and painting work took only 5 days! The size of SHANCOâ s highly-qualified crews varied, depending on the work required any particular day. And as expected, the workers were very cooperative in following the Scope, right down to the smallest detail for masking trim boundaries. They tarped-over adjacent landscaping, concrete surfaces and our new TREX deck to prevent over-spray. The workers were very professional, competent, and friendly to us. They graciously touched-up areas we pointed out. When the painting was completed, they were very diligent in removing all masking materials and cleaning our yard and concrete surfaces of debris. We definitely recommend SHANCO to anyone with an exterior painting project, and we would be happy to use them in the future!"

"Gilbert did an excellent job from start to finish in painting the exterior of our house. He was very careful walking on my bar tile roof. The house was well prepped and he used an up to date power sprayer effectively and had someone hand-roll behind his spraying. We paid a little extra for this, well worth it. We had some bad facia boards, which he replaced and did some tar paper work under some of the tiles. He did a real good job on the trim on the facia boards and 3 car garage. His clean up was super. Gilbert is pleasant to work with and comes to the house on the day and time he says. I recommend his business to others seeking roof cleaning and interior and exterior painting."

After receiving several quotes from different contractors, I chose this builder because they provided the fastest service and the lowest price, even beating out the second lowest bidder by a significant margin. Despite my initial doubts, this builder's service exceeded my expectations in every way. The damage on my siding right below the roof was worse than I thought - the wood inside was also rotten. But the builder was up to the challenge. They cleaned up all the rotten wood and replaced it with new wood. The siding had a curve which required a 12 foot long piece of wood, but they had no problem replacing it with a new one. While the contractors didn't speak English, communication was not a problem thanks to the Google translator app. I was able to use the app to ask them to paint the extra siding next to the damage, and they had no problem understanding my request. I am extremely pleased with the work this builder did on my house. They were fast, efficient, and provided an outstanding level of service. "Dans Painting Service was called when another contractor who started the job had completed it only in part. Due to their pressure washing the roof with too much pressure, much of the dormer and fascia trim upstairs on our large and once lovely home was left poorly. Some parts were damaged. Dan and crew helped to get the bad business that occurred repaired as well as possible and our house looks almost new again. We are so pleased by their expert repairs where they could make them and also where they finished the job in three days. I am so grateful that they could come in and take on the mess and were so professional and quick to see that we are now sealed in for winter with the lovely coat of white satin paint that makes our house glisten again. We have a very steep roof and the trim boards on all of the dormers and some siding, too, were extremely difficult to reach. It was a dangerous and exhausting job just to carry and control the high ladders they had to use. Had they not been such experienced men, they probably would not have even wanted to help us out. We were left with only four warm days predicted,so Dan went more than the extra mile to get the job done . I am extremely grateful to him and to his crew and will hire him back again! He does stand behind his work and checked to see that all was done to our complete and happy satisfaction."
