"I have had annoying leaking issues and excessive wear with my existing 16-year old roof on both my home and two story workshop. Particularly with the low slope (2:12 pitch) portion of my front porch and carport running across the entire length of the house. Visible damage on the underside over several years continued to progress and the recent wind driven rain bands produced by Hurricane Harvey brought out evidence of the urgent need to finally repair and replace new architectural shingles on these roofs. It was disheartening to have such a relatively short life out of both roofs. I started by doing much research on latest materials and practices needed to afford a better result on the replacement and went through great effort to acquire bids for the project. The process was frustrating on the latter due to contractors being tied up under the workload created by roof damage over much of the area from San Antonio to Houston and down to the coast. The little response for quotes I got revealed that high prices were in the air and listening to customer's specific requests for repair strategy were largely being ignored. That was until I tried HomeAdvisor and found G and N Roofing. I received immediate response to my bid request with an appointment to survey and discuss my options. Adam listened to my major concerns and was receptive by insuring me that I would get what I wanted. This young man is a go-getter and followed up with quick turn around of his bid estimates. He made himself available to answer any questions I had before proceeding. He even helped me to remove the threat of a tree precariously hanging over my workshop in preparation. This gave me great confidence in doing business with this contractor. Within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks of first meeting him we were good to go on the work. He coordinated the timing of both crew arrival and delivery of the materials perfectly. He remained onsite the whole day and anytime I asked him to confirm the crew was following my specifications he quickly responded by climbing back on the roof (multiple times) to keep the communication clear. As I suspected, 6-sheets of plywood had to be replaced over the porch. He came prepared for that but unfortunately had to guess at the thickness before the old roof was removed. He quickly made a run to get the proper decking. Both he and his crew did a great job on the roof repairs and replacement on both buildings, and cleaned up the mess with little collateral damage. I sure hope the modified bitumen underlayment I specified will eliminate the leaking over the porch and other critical transitions. I am a very happy customer and hope this will be the last time I'll need to deal with another repair during my lifetime here. G and N Roofing backs up their craftsmanship for 10-years so I'm told."

They have had new people in the last 2 years and have done a fantastic job. Travis and his team do a very professional job on the initial install and their service has been top notch. "We hired South Eden to help us with our backyard landscaping from planning to completion. I highly recommend Jaz and team for ANY landscaping plan. As we are not new to landscaping design, I had very specific "wants" and "don't wants" in our project. They were VERY accomodating and reworked the plan design several times before starting the project and during the project. They communicated during every step of the way to assure we were more than happy with the results. As we wanted a design with zero grass, South Eden was extremely knowledgeable in hardscaping options, plant selection, and plant location to make the design perfect for our layout. The team that came to complete the landscaping were on time and very pleasant to work with. My specific ratings are below as a single "5 STAR" doesn't do them justice: 1. Communication and Followup: 5 STAR (most landscaping companies didn't even bother to call us back 2. Landscape planning and design: 5 STAR 3. Pricing: 5 STAR (estimate was 60% of the other landscaping companies) 4. "I canâ t say enough positive things about Carlos and his crew. From his initial bid to the final cleanup, he managed my project with an attention to detail and professionalism every step of the way. His prices were BY FAR the cheapest of 3 other companies, but his service was above and beyond! To be clear, this was a very big residential job. I would also like to point out how friendly and considerate his entire crew was. We have 3 very large dogs who were essentially spoiled every time they came into contact with one of his crew. On a rare occasion, a small gate was mistakenly left down and Carlos immediately sent someone over to replace it at 9:30pm (even though I insisted it wasnâ t a big deal). They treated me with respect and courtesy anytime and every time we interacted. To reiterate, my landscaping project was extreme. But because I picked Carlos, I was able to get so much more than I initially believed, simply because everyoneâ s rates were so high! In the end, I have a BEAUTIFUL front and back yard, complete with irrigation, flower beds, rock, beautiful stone border, sod, large trees and flagstone. Thank you, Carlos!!!!"

"This company is fabulous!!!! He turned our beyond bad lawn into a showpiece!! The original yard was poorly designed and installed which killed the sod. They cleaned all that out, brought in new good soil and leveled it all out for proper layout and drainage. He had beautiful fresh sod delivered and they meticulously laid it out to make sure it was level and even. Afterwards he took his time explaining how to properly maintain/water from that point to at least a month out. Have to say, our yard is now a show piece!!! Highly recommend this company for any issues your lawn needs even installing sprinkler systems to designing and planting. If you want someone that is detailed oriented and treats your lawn as his own, then you will be in awe of Lovely Scapes!!!!"
