"Joe and Denise Martin, husband and wife owners of AJM Earth, are STUPENDOUS. Knowledable, creative, hardworking, responsive and just the nicest people, they are a JOY to work with. I am simply THRILLED with the end result of my BEAUTIFUL landscape renovation this summer. It was a large project, consisting of extensive hardscape (Joeâ s area of expertise) involving grading and installing a large (24â x 14â ) patio with Techo-Bloc slabs and grading, redirecting drainage and installing over 2000 sq. feet of Techo-Bloc pavers for the front walkway, turn-around area in front of double garage and driveway to the street, and softscape (Deniseâ s area of expertise) involving designing, preparing and planting 7 BEAUTIFUL planting areas both in front of the house and in the backyard, which took over 2 months and there was never a moment when I was not excited about how it was turning out. AJM Earth offers a not often found combination in landscape design as the company combines hardscape and softscape so well. Because Joe and Denise are each totally respectful of the otherâ s work, a landscape project with them is seamless from start to finish. I have had very few remodeling projects inside or out where I have been totally satisfied with every decision and detail, but my landscape renovation with AJM Earth is certainly one of them. "As other reviews have mentioned, John Talo and his team are talented; and John was a pleasure to deal with. John helped us envision the majestic and artistic stone steps (easily 50 feet long) to our front door. As well as the stone patio and 2 foot granite sitting wall off the back of our house. I highly recommend him and his team. The only problem I had, and it was not a big one, is that they left random shovel fulls of left over stone dust/stones in discrete places around my yard. Not a nice surprise; and wished that he had asked where to discard it."
