"My front garden only consisted of hostas that would look good for a couple months and burn up by mid-July with the full sun. I dug up the hostas and wanted to replace them with drought-resistantperennial. When I reached out to my pro, Matt, he was professional and efficient. He met with me very soon after I contacted him. I expressed my concern about needing drought-resistant perennials in my front garden and Matt gave me many suggestions. He provided a rough sketch and some ideas for perennials to use. He arrived early on the scheduled date to complete the planting. I truly love my garden now. When the flowers fully mature and fill out, they'll look even better. Matt made the process easy and worthwhile!"

"We had two projects; landscape and hardscape. The landscaping was extensive, involving the front yard and backyard. The crew was professional and thorough. They worked through issues and concerns with us as the job progressed. The hardscape involved repairs to a paver patio for drainage issues, and power washing / resealing. "GreenTHUMB Lawn & Landscaping went beyond what I expected by removing more than ten, of hundreds of year old tree stumps from trees I had cut down allowing our family to finally enjoy the beautiful space we have. The owner listen to my vision of what I wanted to see and i love my new graded backyard and new fire pit my best friend can now run and play safely on level ground, I no longer have to look at a crumbling concrete porch. "I hired MAC Landscaping & Design in May 2020 to install a French Drain and subsequent regrading for the backyard. My neighbor told me this would be a waste of money as â environmental engineers,â â city officials,â and â multiple companiesâ she contacted said the pooling of water couldnâ t be fixed. Mike came to my home, took detailed measurements, and told me (with confidence) he could give me a dry backyard. One year later, after the snow came and melted, after downpours and freezing temps, I saw the proof that his design worked, and now I watch my neighbors deal with stagnant water while I enjoy a beautiful, healthy lawn. But my main reason for writing this review (as I typically do not) is for the back patio Mike installed off my kitchen. During Mikeâ s initial visit for the French Drain, I had inquired about wood or vinyl decking and what he would charge to install one. I had received quotes for both materials from several companies and wanted to see how Mikeâ s would compare. Mike explained why he wouldnâ t recommend this for my yard (issues related to moisture) and suggested a raised paver patio instead. Within a week, I was sent a 3D design detailing the layout and explaining the costs. Not only was his design esthetically pleasing, but it also cost less than the wood or vinyl decking. I agreed and have never been happier with the results of a home project. This patio and backyard have been a lifesaver for me! I saw how Mike and his crew worked; they were on time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Being so please with the backyard, I ended up having the front of my home redone. Mike installed a beautiful walkway and large front porch (to match the back) and planted shrubs, flowers, put down mulch, and lighting. I honestly canâ t say enough good things about Mike and MAC Landscaping & Design! Thanks, Mike!"
