"We were about to scrap our project after the first contractor Beltway Builders came out for an estimate. The price they quoted was so high we were going to forgoe this project and spend the money elsewhere. The 7th state builders came out and their representative Dan was knowledgeable, professional and worked with me to come up with a design we loved and met our budget which was half the price quoted by Beltway Builders. "95 was one of three companies I quoted for a driveway replacement project. Their representative, Tim, was the first to contact me. Tim is truly a subject matter expert. He understood the assignment and made solid recommendations, even filling gaps in my own creativity for how I thought the final product should look. 45 minutes after meeting with me at the house, Tim emailed an itemized quote with 95's bid and then called to go over it with us. He didn't know it, but he had set the precedent for how I expected all the bidding companies to go about their pitch. After a couple more bids came in from other vendors, 95's price point landed in the middle of the pack. Despite having the option to save money with another vendor, Tim's enthusiasm, competence in his work, and our sense of his genuineness caused us to go with 95. Project Location: Odenton, MD Project Location: Odenton, MD Date: 01/26/24What type of project do you need done?: Waterproof foundation or surfaceComment: After paver patio was installed, we noticed leaking into our basement from the sliding door with heavy rain/wind.Project Location: Odenton, MD Date: 01/10/24Desired Completion Date: Within 2 weeksComment: I have an area in my basement where as years ago when we purchased the house (brand new) the contractor installed the fireplace on the wrong side of the house. The contractor relocated the fireplace, and in doing so they left a small cinderblock area _24" x 48" from slab to grade on the foundation, they did not remove the cinderblock. I need this area and an adjacent window addressed preferably from the exterior as opposed to the interior. I believe there is currently drain tile around the aforementioned area. ( A guess. I assume the foundation inspection was done before moving the fireplace to the correct area of the house when we purchased the property?) Based on the amount of flow/run-off going into our sump pump, I believe there is drain tile in place, and around this area, but I'm not 100% sure since it's 6'-8' below grade. This Is a very small job, but we need to complete it for peace of mind.
