While other companies used all kinds of tricks to scare us, give us high estimates and then a discount etc., we had the best experience with JES Basement systems. The sales associate Rich Thomas was a really nice guy who explained to us all our options without using any kind of pressure tactics. We signed a contract and later had to cancel it due to personal reasons. Even after that the office staff Susan Harris was really pleasant and agreed to refund our deposit without any hassle. It was definitely a refreshing experience to deal with such pleasant and helpful staff through out the company which is a rare thing these days when most companies are out to just get your money. This is definitely an indication of the good character and integrity of the company, its owner, and its staff. I would recommend this company to anyone who ever needs to deal with wet basement or foundation issues."

"We had a wet basement, so we had foundation work done, and a sump pump installed. The work was done in March, but we have waited until well into the rainy season to submit this review, so we could be sure there were no further water problems. Dan, Tony, and the men who assisted Tony were excellent! Dan told us the work would take four days, but they completed it in three. They dug up a small mountain of soil in the backyard while working on the foundation, and their clean up job was very clean. They also took special care to protect belongings when installing the sump pump. Thank you."

The scope of work included all new framing and drywall (up to code, unlike before they came in), replacing that damn stucco ceiling with new drywall, upgrading the bathroom and kitchenette, new flooring, new basement door and replacing the ancient basement window, plus upgrades to the interior basement stairs and bathroom exhaust fans.
