Our project involved modernizing a space dominated by an outdated brick wood-burning fireplace and 1980s-style built-ins. We aimed to transform it with a horizontal electric fireplace, custom fluted built-ins for the TV, hidden shelving for electronics, and stylish open shelving with LED lighting. Prior quotes from other contractors seemed inflated, but when I connected with Wladimir from WS Builders, he provided a fair estimate that aligned perfectly with my expectations and the materials' costs. We promptly signed the contract, and work began without delay. Wladimir estimated about 35 days for completion, and impressively, the team finished in just 30 days despite some minor design tweaks along the way. The craftsmanship displayed by Jose, Wladimir's masterful carpenter, was nothing short of exceptional. He meticulously crafted everything from drawers to shelves to the elegant fluted details above the fireplace, transforming our wall into a true work of art. Jorge, the electrician, skillfully installed the LED lighting and concealed all cables behind the TV, maintaining a clean and polished look throughout. The painter ensured a flawless finish, meticulously covering the ceiling, walls, and newly installed shelves. The transformation from the initial state to the finished result is remarkable; even my 18-year-old son commented that it resembles a page out of a design magazine, and I wholeheartedly agree. I extend my deepest gratitude to Wladimir and his team for not only bringing my vision to life but surpassing all expectations. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship are unparalleled. "Fantastic job on my brick and mortar stair repair. Jose talked to us about the job and gave us a fair quote. Others said we would need to have the mortar on ALL joints grounded out for the project to look good. Jose said it was not necessary, saved us money and pretty much matched the repaired mortar with the old. They arrived on time and finished the job timely. We will have them repair our chimney next. Highly recommend. Very happy"

"If you live anywhere near Newton MA, and are planning to have landscaping work done, you should give the folks at StoneWall Landscapes a call. We hired them this summer to do some long-deferred landscaping improvements, and we couldnâ t be happier. Weâ ll definitely use them again. At our property we wanted to: â ¢ Replace the existing driveway and its adjacent stone wall â ¢ Replace the brick steps and concrete walkway that lead to our front door â ¢ Re-build a 6-foot-high stone retaining wall in the back yard â ¢ Re-grade the front and back yards and upgrade our plantings StoneWall Landscapes did it all. They listened carefully to what we wanted and worked with us to design a solution that met our needs and our budget. They were honest, flexible and straightforward, with excellent communication habits. "Christian and his crew are professional, courteous, efficient, and do a great job! Their prices are fair, they communicate every step of the way, and help guide realistic expectations in working with what you have. We have a small back yard that has obstacles of big tree roots, septic tank cover, garden beds boarded with Railroad ties- that made it difficult to level the yard. Also narrowed shaded areas along side house/garage- that I figured would remain ‘dead space’. all It was a unsightly mess. Christian turned it into a beautiful lawn with paved patio and walkway and designated play areas with playground mulch. The jagged un-level pitches turned into natural gentle rolls that just look beautiful. I am beyond thrilled."
