"Prior to picking Quality 1st Maintenance, I had picked four company's that were HIGHLY recommended in Angie's listing. One company, I felt did a great job in assessing the project, and in explaining what needed to be done. Thought they were a bit on the high side. Two more came in, one total me that there was no need to put in a stainless steel flue, and that it was a waste a money. Thankfully, I had done my due diligence and understood that what he was telling me was not only dangerous but wrong. The other company, though very close to the first one, had not wanted to get up to the roof, I told him that I understood the house very difficult to get there. Now comes Oscar, he came, looked at the outside, gave his perception of what he had to do. Took out the ladder and came back down, and told me exactly what I had thought. The flashing that was done from Power Remodeling, needed to be removed. Oscar said that there was no way that he would be able to do a good job if the flashing was not removed, the chimney needed to be at the house line. Right there the decision was made. Not only did he quote me a fair price, he actually made sense he what he said on the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend him. UPDATE: After having the chimney done, a bit more than a year later I called Oscar for a reason, to have the chimney protected as he had suggested. Oscar accommodated his schedule to come over and look at it, get it done. My family was very happy with the work. Professional, respectful, was willing to answer concerns that the family had and spent time explaining the process of protecting the bricks. Again, would highly recommend him."

"My roof was leaking from multiple places. And the parapet wall was deteriorating. Mr Sam the contractor came and completed the job without any hassles. He is very professional at what he does and completed the work in timely manner. I explained him the problem and within matter of days he has completed the entire project. "Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."
