Remodels
"We were very impressed by the process in terms of quantity, price, and timeline - they really saved our goose. In the current Market Place, it's very hard to get quality tradespeople and ones that are not gouging you. We explained to Raz and Annie that we were moving out of state and had an urgent timeline to get our house on the market. Annie went out of her way to help and Raz burned a few favors expediting the material for the floors, bathrooms, and kitchen/pantry. Alex then took over and came and did the installation taking painstaking care of the project and going through all the small details with passion as thou it was his own house - I was inspired that there are still those people out there. To contextualize the project, I am a Fire Inspector for one of the local cities and I see very high-value homes on a daily basis -- the craftmanship was right up there with the very best. Once we staged the 1974 house, the insides looked in showroom condition, and we sold it just before the interest rates jumped !!"

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
