"Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! Julian is a man of his word, completing a full kitchen refreshâ ¦quartz countertops, new backsplash, lowering the bar to counter height, installing soft close hinges, new faucet and sink AND painting the cabinetsâ ¦all within 10 days! The craftsmanship is top- notch, his communication was excellent and his desire to deliver a beautiful product was a joy! "I am working with Charles on a large remodel/addition and he is excellent. He is great to work with. He really listens and incorporates everything that I want into the house design. His work is meticulous and he is completely professional. It is a pleasure working with him. He responds quickly and I can tell he cares about the project. I started this project with a construction company designer and it quickly became apparent to me that the job was over his head. $4,000 dollars later I reached back out to Charles and hired him. It was the best move I could have made. Now I know my plans will be done right and that they will reflect my wants/needs in the best way possible."

Addition and Remodel
"Robert and his Crew where great. They work quickly and made sure that we were happy with each progression of the work. He was honest and insistent how to pay. He didn't ask for all of it up front which a lot of so call contractors wanted. We are so satisfied with his honesty and work we are hiring for future projects. He is a busy contractor so it may take awhile but it is so much worth it.!!"

"I hired Carlos at Diamond Carlos Construction and his crew did an amazing job. I had them lay soil and grass in my back and front yard as well as some decorative stones along my garden. I could not be happier with the speed and quality of work for these guys not to mention the cost was way less than any other quote I got. I highly recommend them and these are now my go to guys for all my house projects."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
