"I am beyond happy with the work that Mike and the Purely Paint team had done with painting our entire house. They've gone above and beyond and exceed all our expectations. Mike, the general manager, has been extremely friendly, professional, helpful and responsive since the day we first met him to get an estimate until the end of the project. He was personally involved in the project and at our house every day to make sure everything was done to standards. He provided us with a detailed quote that was priced very fairly, gave us advice on colors and finishes, and was super easy to reach to answer all of our questions very promptly. The job he and his team did looks amazing. They used premium paint, painted very clean edges, beautiful moldings, and had excellent brushwork, I really couldn't be happier! I would HIGHLY recommend Purely Paint to anyone looking for an excellent paint company with phenomenal service at a great price!"

"I hired Harbor Paints to paint my studio apartment, and their services were phenomenal! They were on time and courteous when entering my apartment; this sense of professionalism was also apparent when speaking with their management staff! They set up their supplies in an organized fashion, going above and beyond to ensure that my floors and other appliances were protected. Harbor Paints did meticulous work, keeping in mind the smallest of details that resulted in a beautiful final product. Once the job was done, you would have never known they were there! Harbor Paints did such a thorough cleanup, leaving my place the same as before they came (except with a fabulous paint job)! I will be hiring Harbor Paints and Powerwash for all my painting and staining work going forward, and everyone else should, too!!!"

"My friend hired David to paint over a bad molding job, he did a phenomenal job. David paint job saved her from having to have someone else come in and remove and replace the molding. David work is meticulous. David is friendly, professional, neat, and organized. Also, very reasonably priced. My friend will be using him in the future to do another paint job."

"Mario of MG Carpentry was fantastic. I have an 87 year old Tudor with the Tudor strips and crown molding in my dining room. Because of a leak from an upstairs bathroom, some of the walls and ceiling were torn down - destroying the original molding in 1/3 of the room . My original contractor walked away from the job because of the difficulty of the interlocking molding and matching the stain of the original molding and the texture of the ceiling - leaving me high and dry! Mario saved me! He was able to match the molding and stain it to match the existing molding and made the dining room look like nothing ever happened . His painters were able to match the original texture of the ceiling so you can see the difference. Even though it was a relatively small (but difficult) job - he said he’d be able to do it. He and his workmen were able to finish the job in a very timely manor. I felt his price was very fair ! Mario is a true carpenter and I would hire him again and absolutely recommend him in a heartbeat!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
