"David and his crew did a full bathroom renovation, painted every surface of the home, including cabinets, changed plumbing fixtures, door hardware, and all light fixtures, in addition to other electrical work for my mother-in-law s home. He sent over an itemized estimate and stayed on budget, no surprises, and delivered within 6 weeks timeline as promised. This was the best experience I ve had with a contractor yet. His workers were courteous and detailed and delivered a great end product. We are looking to hire him for some work at our home."

"Not only did Galen act as the general contractor on this job, he also was a design consultant, making several suggestions for improvements. The job was done in a professional manner and was completed in a shorter time frame than was estimated. If I have another job to be done, Galen will definitely be the one I call."

"Mr. Figuero was the best contractor, I've worked with. Being military, I've moved many times and have worked with several contractors. He was quick to respond, gave a fair quote, and provided great work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him and will definitively use JD Builders in the future. Joanna McPherson"

"Kitchen remodel was a dream with Blaschke Home Improvements. I completely gutted my kitchen, and Clay was there every step of the way - he provided the new layout, and had amazing design suggestions. The remodel took 5 weeks. They showed up on time, and often put in extra time to keep the project on schedule. Clay stuck to the budget, there were no unexpected up charges. Loved working with Clay so much, he's now doing a bathroom remodel as well. I cannot recommend him enough!"

"Hired these guys to remodel my kitchen and I could not be happier! They came in and gave me an accurate estimate. No hidden costs or surprises. Everything was spelled out and easy to understand. The guy went over everything and I knew what to expect. They estimated the completion time and they ended up finishing earlier than expected and the quality was great! HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
