The extension was put on around 15-20 years ago well before we bought the house. With this situation, we question the quality of the extension's construction. One side wall and the back wall of that section are block walls. The floor in front of that section and floor of the walk-in shower to the other side are quite sound. I suspect this is related to a toilet leak we supposedly had fixed over a year ago. Most likely the wood structure supporting that section also needs to be replaced, as well as some toilet plumbing.
