"They did a great job I had two bedrooms done. They ripped up the rugs and disposed of them, moved the furniture and put down vinyl planking. Greg went to Home Depot to match and buy some paint for new baseboards. His pricing is great. Would recommend"

"I am very picky about work done by contractors. I feel if they are working in a certain field that they should know their craft. and do it well. Saying that, I highly recommend Mike with MK Finished Carpentry! Outstanding work with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. (I had to write the same as Gina because she said the exact words I wanted to say). Mike cleaned up each day he was installing the custom cabinets & counters. The cabinets & counters install could have been a challenge for others because of my requesting to include 4 items from my old kitchen that had sentimental value to me. He took the challenge head on and didn't even try to talk me out of it like some people were doing. The kitchen is more than I dreamed it was going to be. Thank you so much Mike for my beautiful kitchen and at a reasonable price."

"We interviewed 5 companies for this job, but we chose Love My Floors and are so happy we did. Joe's character really sealed the deal for us...kind, fair, and honest. He was always on time for our meetings and it was easy conversing with him. The team put in flooring throughout our home and also updating in the bathrooms. Joe and his team are all about making sure the customer is happy. The team was always in contact as to what time they would be arriving and they made sure to clean up when they left. Joe and his team made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to any one, God bless you, Joe and your team! See you in the Harbor soon..."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
