"After seeing his work on a neighbor's home, I interviewed and hired Jakob for a major home renovation involving new kitchen, new bathroom, creating open layout by using several hidden beams, new siding and more. His price was competitive and fair. His amazing team works so hard and satisfy every request possible. Jakob is on top of the project and knows what's going on at every moment. His presence and attention to detail makes sure everything gets done correctly. He really looks out for the customer, and I'll be using his services again."

"Jose, is a great guy and so is his crew. He has the best communication skills of any contractor i have dealt with. They show up on time, courteous and always clean up at the end of the day. He went above and beyond and did extras without additional charges. We couldn't be happier with how the project came out. We are so lucky to find a contractor that we can use for many other projects. Jose company provides so many services. Pricing was extremely fair, don't call anyone else, use Jose."

"From start to finish Joe was a skillful professional. He came over and looked over the various repairs and replacements and new installations I wanted. That late afternoon he gave me a written estimate clearly spelled out Including buying the necessary items. Came back at the appointed time and completed the work and cleanup as described in the itemized estimate. Everyone here was satisfied and happy."

"I hired Carlos and team to install and repair drywall for our primary bathroom. The team worked fast and the quality of work was excellent. Our space had many different types of repair needed and working on an old home was no easy task. I would highly reccommend them for any future work needed on drywall repair and install!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
