"Everything Iâ ve used Construction Doctors for has been great! From start to finish it has been a smooth process. The latest job Iâ ve hired them for is an update for to our backyard. The time and attention into just planning it out is very appreciated. Also, they give multiple options to what you may have as an idea, and will work with you depending on your budget! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!"

Addition to Existing Structure - Build, Bathroom, Kitchen & Room remodels
"Gregg -and his team are top notch. They did a whole house remodel job for us, as well as fix our draining system in the yard, which included a new concrete driveway. Our house was built in 1978, and I basically have a new house! Gregg made great suggestions on how to bring our house into the 21st century. He stayed on budget (except when my husband added change orders). We removed the wall down the center of half of the house. Instead of having a box kitchen, den and a formal LR/dining room (which was never used), we now have a huge open area that is GREAT for family gatherings--if I am in the kitchen I can talk to everyone watching TV. And the house just FEELS bigger! We got rid of our carpet and put in in new flooring; we got rid of the popcorn ceilings and put in overhead lights with ceiling fans; he enlarged our laundry area so my husband didn't have so much trouble reaching into the dryer in a tight space; he added solar tubs in 2 of the really dark areas of the house, which made a HUGE difference; we got rid of the wood burning fireplace and had a gas fireplace; our master bath was remodeled--it's small but it LOOKS and feels so much larger now. We also did a total rewiring to bring the house up to current code. We've been in this house 27 years, and we wanted it remodeled for our retirement and we just couldn't be happier! Gregg was always available by phone or text, and his workers Ed and Eddie are wonderful! The total cost of our project was $97K....and it was worth every penny! Project started the first week of January 2016 and we moved back into our house on April 22. Thank you, Gregg and team!"

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
