"I was having a safety issue with the door/stairs to my attic. I thought I would need to have all of hardware replaced. They contacted me very quickly and came out to give me quote within a couple of days. When he got here he was able to see the problem and fix it immediately. No replacement needed! The charge was extremely reasonable. While he was here I was also able to ask him about replacing the railing on my stairs. He took the measurements asked what I was looking for and said he can get me a quote in a day or two. I will definitely think of them again for future projects!"

"After searching through several companies I finally had someone I felt confident in and they also had a very competitive and fair price. I had Too Deep construction paint my house on the interior. They did two tone including my doors as well through the interior of my whole house. David the owner was very respectful of my home and went even extra to make sure we were happy! I also respected the fact he let me know the process the entire way through and was very attentive to what we wanted. I definelty would recommend these guys it was a good experience the whole way through!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
